This semester, I have begun memorizing some of the historical church catechisms with my two oldest children. It is a pleasure to hear them parrot back to me the core tenets of our faith. Lily has really enjoyed crafting with April and is starting to make jewelry and other trinkets. Trey tried basketball this winter and enjoyed it. He also recently accompanied me on a work trip, and it was great to have him along. Jonah is our two-and-a-half-year-old with a wide-open schedule; we’re staying buckled in for whatever comes with three! And to our children's great delight, our family freshly welcomed Willow, a Bernedoodle dog. It is fun and exhausting having a puppy!
I’m getting excited for our National Conference, May 4–6, here in Southern Pines. You’ll have an opportunity to catch coffee with my mom, Leigh, hear from me and a panel of other CC dads, and learn from Andrew Pudewa, founder and director of the Institute for Excellence in Writing! You can register here for the fun, fellowship, and this year’s focus: educational freedom. My hope is that I will see many of you this spring!
