Just like that, our fall semester is at its end, and our Foundations group has recessed for the holidays. Due to travel this fall and the kids getting older, we will probably do a little more memory work review between now and the start of next year than we have in the past. It is hard to believe that my two oldest children will be eight and six very soon!
I joined in community with my children for a couple of weeks while April was recovering from a recent minor surgery. It was a lot of fun, participating as a parent. I encourage all CC dads to commit a day in the academic year to be present in the local community.
I also recently finished reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe aloud with the kids, and we've just begun The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. These are priceless family moments.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know that even in challenging years and incredibly uncomfortable economic conditions, you and I still have a lot for which to be thankful. God is good all the time.
