Jackie's Corner

God’s blessings on you as we approach Thanksgiving! What a wonderful time of the year as we begin to wrap up our programs and enjoy time with family and friends.
Do you know that each year we have about 2,000 students join us in January? As we continue this semester and look toward 2020, we can serve families through community even if they haven’t joined us yet this school year. We can add students, programs and even communities in January. If only they knew about your wonderful program, I know there are more families in your area that would join CC in the new year. Have you set up and invited families to a fall Information Meeting or Open House? Even if your program is done for this semester, you can work with your SR and host an Information Meeting between now and the New Year and then host an Open House in January. Many families could be blessed.
Remember internal Open Houses, too. Ensure that your masters parents in Foundations are invited to check out Challenge A, and other Challenge parents can visit the next Challenge level, whether in your community or nearby. Those extra weeks when Challenge meets without Foundations are a great time for parents of younger children to visit Challenge A.
Be proactively blessing families this Thanksgiving season with insight into the next program for their students and consider the needs for new programs and communities in your area for January. Some of those annual 2,000 students are right near where you live and are just waiting to be blessed by a CC community, just as you and I have been blessed.
We are GHIDEd by our CORE VALUES with grace in speech, humility of mind, integrity in action, diligence in work, and excellence in results.
Huge shout out to an unnamed Challenge III Director for being the lead humble learner who doesn’t have all the answers and allows students to integrate to the max!
“Last week in community, my students were working on Experiment 5.2. It was a quick and simple experiment that allowed for more discussion time and a faster cleanup. This made me happy! I’ve done this experiment with numerous groups before—the salt dissolves in the water not in the oil. No surprises, right? All my students knew what would happen.

"I'm super impressed with the bookstore this year!! I have placed two orders this fall, and I have been shocked by how quickly the items arrived at my house and by the wonderful email communication from both CC and UPS as to when my package would arrive. Thank you!!! I'm sure this has taken a lot of diligent work to have such promptness on customer orders, and I'm very impressed and thankful!!! The customer service is more impressive than Amazon, which we order stuff from weekly (if not daily at times). Thanks for being excellent at serving through the bookstore!!!" Beth Prewitt, SR
